<span style=”font-weight: 400;”>It being the first week of classes I mostly read through the syllabus to see what the semester had in store for all of us. Going through it week by week it became clear we are going to have a lot of readings, but also the opportunity to write about things we are personally interested in and I am excited for that. I also read <span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Understanding Rhetoric: A Graphic Guide to Writing <span style=”font-weight: 400;”>and Understanding Visual Rhetoric in Digital Writing Environments and am interested to have a discussion in class about the impact of rhetoric in modern society. Lastly I wrote this labor log to finish up the week!

    Hey Tom–

I’d really like to see more detail in future responses: how did you feel about what you read? Can you make any connections to your real-life experiences? Did you have any questions? What examples or claims stuck with you from the texts?
