After watching “Her” on Netflix I realized how technology can change how we are as humans. Theodore from “Her” became very lonely and depressed after his break up with his wife and not having that many friends around that he can vent to when ever he’s feeling down. He then turned to an operating system which made him feel like himself again. We can relate this with today’s technology and substitute the operating system with our smartphones. Over times its become like second nature to us when ever we’re down or bored first thing we turn to is our smartphones. I believe that over time these simple smartphones will then become something similar to the operating system in the movie “Her”.
